Kalia Scholarship 2024: Eligibility, Apply, Amount, Last Date

Kalia scholarship is a Odisha Government’s Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and Income Augmentation program. This Scholarship is a financial assistance program and the application for 2024 session is started. The main objective of this scholarship is to take forward the education of Small and Marginal Farmer’s children ( son / daughter) through financial support. Especially in this Kalia scholarship those who are involved in technical courses for them this scholarship will give huge advantages.The last date of this scholarship is January 31, 2024. Through this Kalia scholarship those parents who cannot afford their son or daughter’s education, Government of Odisha is helping to advance their children’s education through this yojana. The Department of Agriculture and Farmers Empowerment Government of Odisha will help them to fill up their dreams courses like Medical Engineering, Hotel management, Pharmacy, Agriculture allied Sciences, Nursing, Diploma and Various Vocational Courses. This scholarship is based on One time admission fee as well as tuition fee. The last date to apply for the scholarship is 31st January 2024.

What is the Eligibility Criteria of Kalia Scholarship?

• The students from Odisha residence is only eligible to fill up this scholarship.
• The students can be son or daughter of Small and Marginal Farmers, are eligible for take benefits of this scholarship.
• The students must be from small, landless or agricultural cultivators family.
• The students those who are in NRI quota they can not apply for this scholarship.
• The students can take only one scholarship benefit at a time.
• The students admission must be in a government institute. If student takes admission in any recognised institution then the institute must have AISHE code.
• Students who are capable to take admission with self financing can’t participate in this program.

How to Apply online for Kalia Scholarship in 2024?

• For Registration the students must visit the official portal https://scholarship.odisha.gov.in.
• Now the students must click on the Registration ( for new user).
• Old user can choose the Login option directly.
• If you’re a new user then you’ve to verify Aadhaar card so enter the Aadhaar card number and go to the next steps.
• Now you need to create your User ID and Password ,you must use your active mobile number or email id to create the user id and password.
• After the registration, you’ve to Login with their user ID and password to access their account.
• In the scholarship application dashboard, you’ve to provide all necessary details including personal details, educational details, and bank details.
• Now click on save button ( save as a draft ), again select Next to continue.
• Aftere that you’re able to see the preview.
• Now recheck your provided information again and make sure every provided information is correct.
• Now submit and take a printout.
