The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a well-known initiative that was introduced by Narendra Modi on February 24, 2019. It was decided to create this initiative with the goal of providing financial help to all cultivable landlord farmer households across the country. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is a central scheme launched by the Government of India under which farmers are given 6000 rupees annually. The amount of this scheme is transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in 3 installments of Rs.2000 / -per installment. Steps to PM Kisan New Farmer Registration
The government has launched a dedicated portal for new farmer registration. Farmers can register as new beneficiaries on this portal. Below we have shown the step by step process on how to register online.
- First, go to https://pmkisan. gov. in.
- Under Farmer FARMERS CORNER, select the option “New Farmer Registration.”
- Select Rural Farmer/Urban Farmer Registration, enter your Aadhaar number, mobile number, select state, and click on Get OTP button.
- Enter the 4-digit OTP received on your Aadhaar-linked mobile number and click on Submit.
- Provide the farmer’s personal details eg following:
- District, Sub-district, Block, village
- Category (General/Other/SC/ST)
- Farmar Type
- Land Registration Number
- Ration Card Number (optional)
- Select Ownership Land Holding (Single/Joint) and click on Add.
- Provide the following information in the Land Details, such as;
- Khata No
- Khasra Number
- Area (hectare)
- Land transfer status
- Land transfer details
- double-check all information and click on save.
After the successful submission of beneficiary registration, a farmer ID will be given. Note it down for future reference.
How to Check PM KISHAN New Farmer Registration Status
After the registration of the farmer, the beneficiary should check the status of the application. By checking the current status of the application, it can be confirmed whether their application has been verified or not. Follow the steps below to check the status of the application.
- Applicants first go to the website https://pmkisan.gov.in.
- Then click on “Status of Self-Registered Farmers / CSC Farmers.”
- Enter the Aadhaar number and the captcha code that appears.
- Then click on the Search/View button.
- On the next page, the Beneficiaries can check the Farmer Application Status.
